Traditional Japanese hip- or thigh-length kimono-style jacket in traditional West African cloth.
Centuries old cloth weaving cultures fashioned for the skin of Asantehene warriors. Strips of cotton and silk backgrounds gold fists batteling the cold in the old Asian style.
This design is an original created by Dali Askari. It is one of a kind. This project was an infusion of ancient African and Ancient Asian attire. This was Dali's first attempt at learning, applying, and sharing the process of sewing.
